Cheer

I am the worst cameraman ever.  Haha.  I was too distracted watching it in real life, than worrying about how it was looking on the camera.  Haha.  Sorry!  But, overall, you can get a good sense.

my critiques.
1. Voices! Sound excited.
Be loud.  Have energy.  Know the words.
I can only hear Abby.

2. Sharpen up!
I was so excited because the first verse looked stellar.  But, the cheer got sloppier as we went.  This is the first thing the judges see.  So, you need to grab their attention and keep it.  Make sure they have a good time watching you.  Make them smile!!!

Signs girls... you need to be SUUUUPER sharp and animated with your facial expressions.  Even though you are holding a sign, you are still doing a motion.  Sharpen up and look straight forward into the crowd.  Don't watch the stunts going on behind you.

3. Know it!
I can't say it enough, practice! Practice! Practice!  It's up to you to make sure you know the motions.  We can only do so much at practice, so be sure you go home tonight and go over it again, and again, and again.  Be prepared.

On the "let's see you on your feet" part... back triangle girls really need to practice your parts tonight.  Watch yourself in the mirror.  Know where you should be in the formation.  As soon as you start moving or start looking around, my eye goes straight to you.  I would rather you be in the wrong place and standing still and confident than shuffling around.  CONFIDENCE!!!

Remember, we are practicing at Randy's from 4-5:00 tomorrow.  Pretty please... practice the whole routine at least five times all the way through tonight on your own.  Zip through the cheer and the routine to music.  Come prepared!  Thanks, chicas!  Keep working hard!
