Competition Details!!!

Happy Competition Day!

It is here!  Our first competition, the Cupid’s Cheer Challenge, is this Saturday!  All of the hours of hard work have been preparing for this day and you are ready!  Everyone needs to be at Highland at 7:00AM.  Parents, please wear the competition shirts you purchased.  I would love for all of you to sit by each other and yell with us when the girls are doing the cheering portion of the routine.  It adds so much when the crowd gets involved and you can help with that.

Today I sent home a details letter from the competition organizer as well as a performance schedule.  All of our routines will be performed facing the North side.  The cheerleaders will keep all of their bags, poms, etc. in the practice gym, which is where we will also have our warmup time.

Everyone’s hair and makeup looked great at practice on Saturday, so be sure to keep that look.  If you noticed your hair was not curly enough, be sure to make necessary adjustments there.  I will be bringing lipstick.  If you would like to purchase your own lipstick, I will be using Wet-n-Wild Megalast lip color, shade 922A, Cherry on Top.  I paid $2.99 at Fred Meyer.  The nice thing about this stuff is it lasts and lasts.  It’s almost like a lip stain. 

Remember to check and double check your bag before you leave home.  In it you should have packed blue poms, white poms, and your warmup jacket.  You will be wearing white bodies, blue briefs, white socks, our new FMS uniform, and the blue sparkle bow.  Remember to have the ponytail nice and high so the bow is easily visible from the front. It also isn’t a bad idea to bring an extra ponytail holder, hairspray, and blush to touch things up between performances. I will bring the blue paw tattoos and put them on your cheek prior to our warmup time.

EVERYONE ELSE 7:00-8:00AM

If you are not in the stunt group, you do not have to be there until seven.
